THROUGH THE WEEK SCHOOL (TTWS)

Ardmore United Methodist Through the Week School (TTWS) is a vibrant weekday ministry of Ardmore UMC. We are a half-day program (9:00-12:00) with optional Lunch Bunch until 1:00. We have 3 wonderful playgrounds, large classrooms with natural light, and exceptional teachers! With over fifty years of outreach ministry, we continue to show families the love of Jesus and the hospitality of Ardmore UMC. We are blessed with wonderful children and families that bring our halls alive Monday through Friday, September through May each year. We would love to give you a tour, and we hope you will join our family.

2025/2026 TTWS School Calendar

We have 5 inclement weather days built into the calendar. If we miss more than 5 days, we will use April 6, May 21 and May 22 as make up days. If we miss more than 8 days, the TTWS committee will decide how to proceed and will communicate that decision as necessary.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year and for 2026 Summer Fun camps will be opening SOON!!!

Current TTWS families will be able to access a registration link for both the upcoming school year and Summer Fun on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Families will be provided these links via Brightwheel.

 

Registration will open to the public on Sunday, February 22, 2026. A link to the registration form will be available on our website beginning the morning of February 22. Two links will be provided - one for the 2026/2027 school year and one for the 2026 Summer Fun camps. These links will take you to Google forms that will need to be filled out. You must fill out individual forms for each child interested.

Readiness Class

Ardmore UMC TTWS offers a 5-day 9:00AM-1:00PM Readiness Class led by two highly experienced teachers. This class provides four- and five-year-old students an additional year of learning before they begin Kindergarten. In the Readiness Class, children will be exposed to hands-on learning opportunities that will prepare them for Kindergarten. Like the four-year-old class, this class attends Music with Ms. Kim and Chapel with Ms. Jessica. These students also go on field trips to local places like Reynolda Gardens, Kaleideum, and local parks to learn more about the world around them!

SUPPORTING THE MINISTRY

Would you like to help a child attend preschool at Ardmore United Methodist TTWS? We have a scholarship fund that helps families in need pay their tuition. Anyone can donate to this fund! Any amount is helpful and appreciated.

 

You can give your donation in honor of someone special, like a grandchild who attended preschool here or a teacher that you love. If you would like for us to do so, we will put that person’s picture up in the hallway and on our Facebook page.

 

You may give to this fund several different ways: by mailing a check to the church, giving an offering during Sunday services, dropping off a check at the preschool or church office, or online
